Clamming: a family sport with culinary results

The Pacific razor clam is an exceptionally meaty shellfish. After a day of fresh ocean air and digging in the sand, prepare your clams and make a feast. All you need is a clam shovel, a container to put your clams in and your clam license. Current Season Update: Look for Mocrocks Beach north of the Copalis River and includes Seabrook. The entrance is a short walk from Daydream Cottage on Lily Lane. While clamming is best at low tide, it can last all day.
